1] Egypt
The Issuing Authority:

Egyptian Cars Club.

Documents Required:

The applicant must be an Egyptian national or a foreigner residing in Egypt at the time of application.
The applicant must have an Egyptian driving license in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Law and its executive regulations. The license must be valid for not less that one year.
The approval of the Traffic General Department on the validity of the data indicated in the Egyptian license (investigation certificate).
The application form should be submitted to the Egyptian Cars Club.

Dues:

Dues should be paid at the Egyptian Cars Club.

2] South Korea
There are twenty-four Driver's License Examination Centres in charge of license application and issuance. If you want to change your current license to a Korean license, just walk into any of the centres and follow the steps listed below:

• Required documents: Translated and notarised driver's license issued in your country of origin / passport or certificate of immigration / 4 photos (3x4 cm);
• The translation and notarisation fees are to be paid;
• A signature of a translator is required;
• Application and physical examination fees cost an additional KRW5,000.

It usually takes 7 to 10 days to get a Korean driver's license. A Korean driver's license is valid for 7 years.

First Time Driver's License

Getting a first time driver's license requires the following procedures:
• Minimum residence for a foreigner is 6 months;
• Complete the same application form as Korean citizens. The application fee is KRW7,000;
• Required documents: passport or Alien Registration Certificate / 4 photos (3x4 cm);
• A physical examination is also required. The fee is KRW7,000.

Examinations are given in English, French, German, Japanese and Chinese, and the length of the license term varies from 3 to 7 years, depending on the type of license (commercial or passenger).
Driver's License Renewal

A Korean driver's license is valid for seven years. You can renew the license three months in advance of the expiration date (every seven years). Your photo (3x4 cm), your current driver's license and renewal fees are required

Apply online

You can apply for your first provisional driving licence for a car, moped or motorcycle using the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency's (DVLA) secure and easy to use online service.
Apply in person or by post

You can apply for your provisional driving licence by completing the D1 application form that is available from the DVLA form ordering service or Post Office® branches. You will also need to enclose original documentation confirming your identity, a passport style colour photograph and the fee of £50.00. Send your completed application and payment to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1AD or you may be able to use the premium checking service.

When to expect your licence

DVLA aims to deliver your driving licence to you within three weeks of receiving your application. It will take longer if your health or personal details have to be checked.

When your licence is issued it will now have a number of added security features. One of the main differences being a laser engraved black and white photograph.
